The Hayward AquaRite Salt Chlorination System offers an efficient and eco-friendly method of swimming pool sanitation. As an alternative to traditional chlorine-based methods, the Hayward AquaRite Salt Chlorination System utilizes salt to generate a constant supply of chlorine, promising a more comfortable and eco-friendly pool experience.
At the heart of the Hayward AquaRite system lies its electrolytic cell, which works by converting salt into chlorine through the process of electrolysis. This eliminates the need for manual chlorine dosing, providing a hassle-free and consistent sanitation solution. The system is compatible with a wide range of pool sizes, offering different sized models that cater to both small and large swimming pools.
Installation of the Hayward AquaRite Salt Chlorination System is relatively straightforward, especially for those with basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. However, professional installation is recommended to ensure safety, optimal performance and longevity. Once installed, the system integrates seamlessly with existing pool equipment, allowing for effortless operation and control.
One of the standout features of the Hayward AquaRite system is its exceptional performance and efficiency. By generating chlorine on-site, it maintains a consistent level of sanitization without the spikes and fluctuations associated with traditional chlorine treatments. This results in water that feels softer and more pleasant on the skin, with reduced irritation and odor commonly experienced with chlorinated pools.
Additionally, the use of salt as a primary sanitizing agent is environmentally friendly, reducing the need for harsh chemicals and minimizing the carbon footprint associated with pool maintenance.
I have found that the Hayward AquaRite Salt Chlorination System excels in simplicity and reliability. Once configured, it operates quietly and efficiently, requiring minimal intervention from the user. The intuitive control panel allows for easy adjustment of chlorine output levels, ensuring optimal water quality based on individual preferences and usage patterns. The AquaRite system is built to last, with durable components designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor use. Hayward, a trusted name in the pool industry, backs the system with a solid warranty and responsive customer support, providing peace of mind to users.
Furthermore, Salt chlorinators have long been touted to provide cost savings over traditional chlorine systems. Over the last 15 years or so that these systems have been on the market, I have found that not to be the case. Overall, the cost is about the same. All salt systems require the salt cell to be replaced between 3-5 years, rarely do they last longer than 5 years. The addition of salt will also need to be added to maintain the proper salt level. The salt level will be modified by backwashing, power vacuuming and other maintenance that require water to be removed from the pool. This should not be taken as a negative, I want everyone to understand the investment they are making. Also, please understand that there will be a small learning curve associated with switching over to a salt system, just as there was when you started maintaining a pool with traditional chlorine.
Who is the for? The Hayward AquaRite Salt Chlorination System sets the standard for pool sanitation, offering a winning combination of performance, efficiency, and user-friendliness. With its innovative technology, and commitment to sustainability, it represents a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a cleaner, healthier, and more enjoyable swimming experience.
